The FM Championship returns to the 2025 LPGA Tour schedule
The FM Championship will return to TPC Boston in 2025.
The LPGA Tour made the announcement on Monday, a day after the opening event closed with Haeran Ryu winning a qualifier over Jin Young Ko of South Korea and earning $570,000.
The $3.8 million purse was the largest non-major, non-tour prize on the LPGA Tour this season.
The tour says the event in Norton, Mass., was one of the biggest sellers of 2024, with attendees from 31 states and five countries buying tickets.
Tournament dates will be announced this fall.
“We are thrilled to be returning to TPC Boston for the 2025 FM Championship,” said Malcolm Roberts, chairman and CEO of FM Global. “Over the past week, this world-class venue has provided an incredible opportunity for athletes, fans and the New England community. We would like to thank our wonderful hosts at TPC Boston for their hospitality and support and our partners on the LPGA Tour for helping us deliver a successful and exciting tournament.”
Rhode Island-based Eagle FM, a real estate insurer, has offered some benefits to players outside of the big fund. Athletes received hotel accommodation, while those who missed the cutoff were awarded a total of $1,000.
