Cotuit finished the regular season with an overall record of 22-17 and made the playoffs. They posted a few more W’s in the postseason, starting with a take-it-all, one-game winning streak against Wareham in the first round of the playoffs. They then fell to Bourne, two games to one, in the best-of-three Western Division competition.
Unlike the talent of The Kettleers who used only 25 players during the 39-game regular season, the pitching staff had the largest number of any Cape Town club, using 47 different pitchers including three doubles.
