Inoue Signs Big Deal With Riyadh Season

Naoya Inoue has reportedly signed a $19.7 million sponsorship deal with Riyadh Season. Undisputed super bantamweight champion Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs) could end up in some interesting fights if the Honorable Turki Alalshikh can promote him.
Yahoo Japan reports the signing of 31-year-old Inoue, who has signed a lucrative contract with Turki Alalshikh. Inoue is scheduled to defend his undisputed title against Sam Goodman on December 24 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
Turki will want to put together big fights, and it would be great if he could choose the top fighters at 126-, 130-, and 135-weight for Inoue to fight.
Inoue’s signing may mean that he will fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, rather than elsewhere as US fans want to see better fights from him against featherweight fighters, but Inoue did not make a career-threatening move.
