Video taken in northern Israel captured flames and fireworks on the border with Lebanon on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said a “limited, localized and targeted operation” is underway against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
These targets are located in towns near the border “immediately endangering Israeli communities in northern Israel”, it added.
