Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 7s Gen 3: Advanced AI and Gaming for Mid-range Phones
Qualcomm Technologies launched the program Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile The platform, which aims to enhance the capabilities of mid-range smartphones by incorporating advanced features usually found in high-end devices. This new platform delivers AI support for on-device productivitywhich allows the use of large-scale linguistic models (LLMs) such as Baichuan-7B and Llama 2 with 1 billion parameters, improving AI-driven experiences directly on smartphones.
Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 also caters to mobile gaming enthusiasts, powered by Qualcomm Adreno GPU for enhanced gaming experience. Additionally, it supports professional-level camera and video capabilities, including 12-bit triple ISP and 4K sHDR video capture, ensuring high-quality media performance on affordable devices.
Chris Patrick, senior vice president and general manager of mobile at Qualcommemphasized that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is designed to bring the best of the 7 series to a wider range of devices by incorporating key features such as on-device AI.
