Meta Unveils New Wired Features for Creators and Businesses
Meta has announced the launch of several new features on its Threads platform aimed at improving the user experience for creators and businesses. Updates include insights, the ability to save multiple drafts, and a new editing function, all designed to simplify content editing and provide a deeper understanding of audience engagement. These features are currently being rolled out in the web version of Threads, with mobile versions likely to follow in the future.
Understanding Audience Engagement in Detail
One of the most important updates is the presentation of information. This feature will allow users to better understand their audience and the performance of their content. With Insights, creators and businesses can access a range of metrics that provide detailed information about post performance. These metrics include the number of views, replies, reposts, and quotes per post. Additionally, users can track the evolution of their follower count over time and analyze the demographics of their audience, including age, gender, and location. This information is intended to help users tailor their content to better suit their audience, ultimately improving engagement and reach.
Writing and editing content
In addition to details, Meta introduces the ability to save multiple drafts of Threads posts. This feature is especially useful for creators and businesses who often combine multiple ideas before finalizing their content. Users will be able to save up to 100 drafts, allowing them to revisit and edit their ideas before sending them. This functionality ensures that no good idea gets left behind, giving content creators ample opportunity to deliver their messages.
In addition, a new scheduling feature is being tested, which will allow users to schedule and organize their Threads posts in advance. This tool is designed to help maintain a consistent online presence by allowing creators and businesses to organize their content calendar and schedule posts to go live at specific times. Users will be able to schedule multiple posts per day, several days in advance, planning the content creation process and ensuring timely delivery of posts to their audience.
Continuous Evolution of Threads
These latest updates are part of Meta’s ongoing efforts to improve the Threads platform, making it a more effective tool for discussion and communication between users, businesses, and creators. Since its launch, Threads has seen continuous development aimed at addressing user pain points and optimizing the platform for real-time engagement. Notably, less than a year ago, Meta launched threads.net, allowing users to easily interact with Threads content. In May, the platform released a new web experience, including features such as pinned columns for favorite searches, profiles, tags, or activity, with automatic real-time updates.
Further expanding its capabilities, the Threads API, launched in June, provides users, especially businesses and creators, with tools to manage their thread presence at scale. This API supports easy content sharing with third-party applications, making it easier for users to maintain an active and engaging presence on the platform.
