Smugglers Run Ride is getting a Mandalorian update
It’s not a completely new ride, but it’s a pretty big step either way: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is getting its first major addition since launch The Rise of Resistance in 2019 in a brand new way The Mandalorian the goal of its next big trip.
Announced at D23 tonight by Dave Filoni himself, Lucasfilm and Epic–who partnered with the latest Unreal Engine to develop the current one. Smugglers’ run engaging video–they are working to develop a new goal Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run inspired by The Mandalorian.
No details about the campaign have been revealed, but the artwork during the crime scene showed the Millennium Falcon riders flying alongside Din Djarin, flying through the sky with Grogu in his arms, as the Falcon shoots down TIE Fighters. “The intersection of storytelling and innovation has always been part of Lucasfilm and we’re excited to see where this partnership takes us next,” Filoni said of Disney’s $1.5 billion stake in Epic. “Just think: you’ll be able to fly alongside Mando and Grogu on fun, dangerous missions.”
