Many tennis stars gather in Berlin.
On Tuesday, Roger Federer headed to the city’s Uber Arena to help welcome his former No.
“The king!” exclaimed Team Europe captain Borg when he saw the Swiss great Federer, who is the founder of the Laver Cup and has appeared on Team Europe’s list of winners in three editions of the team event.
“No, you are the king!” replied Federer to Swedish legend Borg, who will captain Team Europe for the seventh and final time in Berlin.

Also set for his final outing as captain this year is McEnroe, who had just finished beating his brother and World Team Vice-captain Patrick McEnroe at the prestigious Black Laver Cup when Federer appeared.
“It’s good to be surprised, they say no one hits!” Federer said referring to the McEnroe brothers.
First held in 2017, the Laver Cup pits six stars of the European ATP Tour against six of their counterparts from around the world. Team Europe has won four of the past six editions of the event and boasts a strong lineup this year that includes World No. 2 and home favorite Alexander Zverev and No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz.
The World Team, which won the previous two editions of the Laver Cup in London and Vancouver, respectively, this year will be led by three Americans in Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Ben Shelton.
