Apple may be best known for its in-ear AirPods when it comes to audio, but headphone lovers also have AirPods Max to consider. These headphones provide a solid option for anyone who wants to stay in the Apple family without worrying about losing a tiny earbud. The biggest problem is that they are expensive. But, right now, Apple’s AirPods Max are 27 percent off, dropping to $399 from $549. The $150 discount is only $4 off their all-time low Prime Day and is available in all colors.
Apple AirPods Max arrived on the scene in 2020 as the company’s first foray into headphones and have remained the only choice ever since. We gave the headphones 84 in our review because of the many features we liked and some things we didn’t. We liked the AirPods Max’s active noise-cancelling capabilities and easy-to-use buttons – like switching from ANC to transparent mode. The headphones also provide balanced sound and have a 20-hour charge when ANC and surround sound are on.

As we said, the biggest problem with these headphones is the price, but this sale helps a little. Other features we weren’t impressed with include its weight of 385 grams – although the wide headband does balance it out. Also, the earphones are not that comfortable, as the rings are visible after just a few minutes of wearing.
