Threads check for disappearing posts that expire after 24 hours

Weaves is testing an option for users to set a 24-hour expiration timer on their posts, after which the post and all replies will disappear, News style. The spokesman confirmed that the feature is being tested among a group of users after it was first spotted earlier this summer by a developer . Sounds like pre-X Twitter’s Fleets, . But, the ephemeral format can save the usual reasons for removing the problem.

It comes a few months after Instagram head Adam Mosseri shared that Wires was going. That optional feature would allow users to designate a date for their posts to be hidden from the feed. But users of Threads in the past have indicated that they have automatic archiving, and such a feature has not yet been demonstrated on a wide scale. Threads at the beginning of August, and recently introduced users – especially those with a lot of followers – to track the performance of their accounts. Meta also said that an option to edit posts is on the way.
