Defending champion Novak Djokovic will be chasing a 25th Grand Slam title at this year’s US Open.

Four-time champion Novak Djokovic will make his US Open debut on Monday, while World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and 2022-ranked Carlos Alcaraz will begin their tournament on Tuesday.

Monday’s full schedule is still to be worked out, but Djokovic and the bottom half will compete on Day 1, followed by the top-seeded draw on Day 2.

In the lower half of the tournament on Monday, Djokovic will face a qualifier, Alexander Zverev who plays fourth Emil Ruusuvuori, Andrey Rublev who plays sixth and Thiago Seyboth Wild and Casper Ruud will try to advance to the qualifiers.

In Tuesday’s main draw, Sinner will play Mackenzie McDonald for the fourth time in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series (Sinner leads 3-0), while Alcaraz will face qualifier, former World No. Daniil Medvedev. 1 will play Dusan Lajovic and seventh seed Hubert Hurkacz will open in the qualifiers.

All matches in the lower division of the women’s draw will be played on Monday and in the upper division will be contested on Tuesday.

No men’s and women’s doubles will be played until Wednesday.
