CCTV footage from inside a garage in Port Vila shows the moment a 7.3 magnitude earthquake hit the Vanuatu capital.
The earthquake, which struck at 12:47 local time (01:47 GMT) on Tuesday, caused landslides, crushed cars and flattened many buildings.
Two people are seen running away from falling debris in the garage, while the camera also appears to pick up a dog trying to escape from the danger.
There are unconfirmed reports of casualties and the full extent of damage in Vanuatu is still unclear.
