Dane, 21, will make his third appearance in Rotterdam.

The 52nd edition of the tournament will be contested on February 1-9, 2025, in Rotterdam Ahoy.

“Holger Rune has been competing at the top of the ATP rankings for two years. It’s easy to forget that you’re only 21 years old,” said Tournament Director Richard Krajicek. “Recently, he spoke of his desire to return to the top 5 in 2025. It would be great if the ABN AMRO Open played a role in achieving that goal.”

13th-ranked Rune finished the 2024 season strong. Rune reached the semifinals of his last four tournaments of 2024: Cincinnati, Tokyo, Basel and the Rolex Paris Masters.

Rune, who finished 2024 with a 45-23 record, finished second to Grigor Dimitrov in the final in Brisbane last January. Rune has four career titles and will open 2025 playing for his first title since winning the 2023 Munich championship.
