BBC reports on mass protests at ‘crucial moment in Georgia’

Massive protests continued for the second night in a row in Georgia, sparked by the government’s decision to suspend accession talks with the European Union.

In the capital, Tbilisi, police used water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets to attack crowds gathered outside the parliament.

The BBC’s Steve Rosenberg reports from the scene.
