Few teams in the 2024 season could match the explosiveness of coach Roland Fanning’s Austin Peay team. Only the national champion Tennessee Volunteers and Wofford scored more runs than the Govs, a team that combined .359/.455/.661, leading the nation in each of those three categories with a team OPS of 1.116. Two-way player Lyle Miller-Green topped the individual leaderboards as well, hitting .393 with 30 home runs and 94 RBIs, totaling 197 bases during a truly special season.
