Tyson Struggled With Injuries
After the fight, Tyson revealed that he was dealing with injuries but added, “I don’t want to make excuses. What are you talking about? Just saying that Tyson has injury problems is making excuses.
The fight showed how little 58-year-old Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) has left, falling in the third with three left hooks from Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) and struggling through the remaining five rounds. .
Round eight was the cherry on top of a rough night for the fans. Neither fighter did anything while a raucous crowd of 72,000+ roared at AT& Stadium in Arlington.
Tyson Is Like A Dinosaur
The match scores were 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73, all for the 27-year-old Jake, who had more youth than the 60-year-old Tyson. It wasn’t that Jake was big. Paul looked like he was lighting up his fists and purposely didn’t go after Tyson after he hurt him in the third. All it would have taken was a short 10 second burst from Jake, and he would have taken out Tyson.
“I was trying to hurt him,” Jake said after the fight.
What was interesting is that Mike revealed that he will return to the war and fight again, mentioning Jake’s brother, Logan Paul. A fight between them would not sell after the train wreck in the evening.
Netflix Streaming Was Freezing
Fans were upset and complained throughout tonight’s Tyson-Paul event about the Netflix stream freezing, preventing them from watching the action without constant interruptions.
If Netflix continues to make boxing in the future, they will need to fix the release problem so that fans will want to order their shows.
