Heading into November 9 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in a fight that will be available live worldwide on DAZN, WBC and lineal world junior bantamweight champion Jesse Bam Rodriguez will face mandatory challenger Pedro Guevara.

Bam Rodriguez is widely regarded as one of the greatest pound for pound boxers in the world today. Ring Magazine currently has him listed as the #7 best pound for pound boxer in the world, and TBRB currently has him listed at #6. At 24 years of age, he is the world’s top-ranked boxer in his 20s, and the youngest boxer on any list, all of which indicate that he could have a very bright future in boxing.
In his last fight in June, Bam moved back up to 115 and fought back-to-back world champion Juan Francisco Estrada. This was the vacant WBC junior bantamweight belt previously held by Bam. Rodriguez won the fight by a 7th round knockout with a nasty body punch. Meanwhile, Guevara had his last fight in May where he defeated Andrew Moloney, winning a 12 round split decision. That victory earned Guevara the mandatory spot that earned him a shot at Rodriguez.
