One of the key features, Safe Walk with SOS, enables users to share their location with selected emergency contacts, allowing quick help in situations where they don’t feel safe. This feature acts as a virtual panic button, helping parents give more freedom to their children while being confident about their safety.
Additionally, the app provides insights into children’s Verizon call and text history, allowing parents to monitor communication patterns for potential concerns. This promotes an effective way to maintain open, secure digital communication between families. Verizon Family is compatible with existing safety devices such as the Gizmo Watch and devices under Verizon’s “Digital Parenting” program.
Verizon Family offers free version for all Verizon mobile customers with postpaid plansand the paid section in $14.99 per month. The paid version offers advanced parental controls, internet activity monitoring, driving information, and roadside assistance, adding additional layers of safety and support for families.
