Erik and Lyle Menendez were convicted of murdering their parents in 1989 at their Beverly Hills home, and were later sentenced to life in prison without parole. The LA County District Attorney, George Gascón, announced that the new evidence found calls for a review of their life sentences, allowing the brothers to be released from prison.
