Samsung Health Update Improves Health Records, Medications, and Diet Tracking
Samsung update it Health app improving the user experience by providing enhanced health management features, making it easier to access health records, take medicineand track the food you eat. These new capabilities aim to integrate disparate health data into a unified platform for better health monitoring.
The main feature of the update is Health Recordsallowing users to securely access medical information from clinics, hospitals, and major health networks. In partnership with b.well Connected Health, Samsung Health integrates electronic medical records (EMR) from leading US systems such as Cerner and Epic. Users can track goals, prescriptions, and test results, improving communication with healthcare providers.
The Medication tracking feature, which was first introduced in the US, has now been extended to South Korea and India. This feature allows users to easily track medications, view potential side effects, and monitor adherence with an intuitive dashboard. In the US, a partnership with Elsevier improves drug safety by providing warnings about interactions and allergies. In Korea and India, regional partnerships ensure local support for drug safety and recalls.
The application also presents a barcode scanning feature to easy to track food. In partnership with fatsecret, users can now scan food labels to automatically record nutritional information, helping them monitor their daily intake. Initially available in the US and select European countries, this feature will expand to other regions over time. You can download Samsung Health from the Google Play Store or the Samsung App Store.
