A long-term foot injury is mandatory Emma Raducanu out of Hong Kong.
Raducanu, 21, withdrew from the Hong Kong Open today.

“I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to play in Hong Kong next week. Although my foot is progressing well, I need more time before I’m in the right shape,” Raducanu wrote on social media. “I hope I will be able to come back and play this tournament in the future.”
2021 US Open champion Raducanu is limited to just three match finishes since his run to the quarterfinals in Washington, DC in July.
