Disney’s Daredevil series ends on March 4, 2025
It seems like Netflix’s Daredevil series has been canceled (it was actually 2018), but the hero/lawyer of Hell’s Kitchen is finally coming back. Marvel Studios announced that Daredevil: Born Again will arrive on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, a little later than the promised 2022. The news was revealed during a New York Comic Con panel that included returning stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin). ).
The New Birth was first announced in 2022 as an 18-episode, two-season order with returning characters, new faces and recurring character Vanessa Fisk (The King’s Wife). Executive producer Brad Winderbaum said earlier this year that the series would enter the Marvel canon as part of a “sacred timeline.” That was important, as Daredevil and other Marvel Television series on Netflix (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones again Iron Fist) were always separate from the original Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has appeared here and there since the series’ cancellation, most recently from Marvel Studio’s. The Echo series and holding a brick Spider-Man: No Way Home. The first one Daredevil on Netflix was very popular with critics and viewers, so its cancellation came as little shock. However, it seemed inevitable when the rival streaming service Disney + was launched, and the show reportedly did not generate a large audience for Netflix and cost a lot of money to make.
