Hasbro’s New Skeleton Crew Figures Are Full of Cute Kids and Plastic Jude Law
star Wars The fandom is probably still reeling from the surprise loss of the last live-action series The Acolytebut such is the nature of TV in a galaxy far, far away these days that we just move on to the next one. The Skeleton Crew it’s coming this winter, and so, and so is nature star Warsthere’s a boatload of new toys to accompany its release.
Over the weekend at New York Comic-Con, Hasbro officially unveiled its plans for a wave of action figures inspired by the upcoming Jon Watts series, which follows a group of young children as they find themselves thrown out of their world and into the events that accompany it. a mysterious power user named Jod Na Nawood, played by Jude Law. All four elementary school kids, as well as Nawood (and another mean-looking thug who will get to him soon) will appear in the first wave of releases.

The kids—KB, Neel, Wim, and Fern—all come with an array of extras befitting kids on a galactic adventure: removable backpacks, flashlights, binoculars, and not a single explosive gun in sight (they’re kids, of course they don’t pack heat!).

They save that for the waves with action figures for adults, who carry more than enough fireworks for everyone. Nawood (who also has a detachable scarf) carries a blaster that looks more like a flintlock gun than anything we’ve seen of it. star Wars before, but the mysterious Pirate Captain Brutus is really prepared to fight fire. The Shistavanen pirate comes with it five blasters, so that he can use them twice in his hands, have holsters on his waist, or put on a bandolier on his chest. Maybe he’s compensating for something, but I hope none of our young heroes ask him that during the show.
