Belinda Bencic ready to resume her career, just six months after giving birth to baby girl Bella in April. The former World No.4 says she will start on the surprise card at the ITF event in Hamburg, which starts on October 28, before joining Team Switzerland in their Billie Jean King Cup Playoff against Serbia on November 15-16.
The 27-year-old Bencic says he hopes to use the competition to test his skills, as he plans to rejoin the tour in 2025.

Bencic’s last game came in San Diego last September.
“I’m not quite at the peak of my tennis and fitness level, but I feel good and ready to compete,” said the eight-time WTA title winner. “I want to test myself in a competitive situation to see what we need to work on to start the next season in top form. We also want to see how we can handle everyday life well in competition with Bella.”
