PENSACOLA, Fla – On paper, Florida State looks like one of the best teams in the country. When the preseason polls come in for the 2025 season, don’t be surprised if the Seminoles aren’t the top ranked non-SEC team. On a fall Saturday in Pensacola, FSU showcased a talented lineup but showed the team is still working to replace the stars who departed from last season’s College World Series team.
Florida State faced an Auburn team that missed the postseason last year and fell to 4-1 and 9-5 in seven games.
