DJI Air 3S Revealed: Dual-Camera Drone For Superior Travel Photography
DJI has launched the DJI Air 3S, a dual camera drone designed for travel photography. This advanced model has a 1-inch CMOS main camera and a 70 mm mid-range telephoto camera, both of which can capture landscape and portraits with up to 14 stops of dynamic range. The Air 3S supports the new Free Panorama mode for seamless panoramic photography, while the cameras excel in both day and night conditions, capturing high-quality images even in low light.
One of its standout features is the corner nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensorwhich ensures safe and efficient navigation, especially during night flights. The Smart RTH (Return to Home) system also improves safety by guiding the drone to return safely, even in the dark.
The Air 3S also includes advanced video capabilities, offering 10-bit recording in multiple color modes, a high ISO of 12,800, and effective file compression, reducing video size by 30%. Both cameras can record in 4K/60fps HDR or 4K/120fps, with advanced image processing allowing exceptional detail in nightscapes and low-light settings.
Additional features include multiple flight time 45 minutes, 42 GB of internal storageand DJI’s O4 video transmission system for clear 10-bit video up to 20 kilometers. The ActiveTrack 360° function helps maintain focus on the subject, automatically adjusting flight paths for dynamic shots.
Price and Availability
The DJI Air 3S is available in various packages, starting with $1,099. Customers can choose the Fly More Combo, which includes additional batteries and accessories. DJI Care Refresh, a service program that offers crash damage restoration, is also available on this model.
