Disneyland and Deadpool. Yes, you read that right! Wade Wilson managed to go to the mouse house and the Avengers Campus to play Marvel’s most mischievous comic book hero. Starting today you can meet him at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort–along with Wolverine along for the ride, to keep Deadpool at bay.
Disney shared more about theirs Deadpool and Wolverine donations to celebrate this week’s release of the latest Marvel movie. Limited-time interactions with Deadpool at Disneyland include “Story Time with Deadpool,” which will see the merc use an articulated mouth to tell “family-friendly tales” to “entertain, engage, and inspire in a way only Deadpool can.” Which means, don’t expect Wade’s twisted tongue in the park. Wolverine will also be participating in the show, as you can see below in a short clip from today’s game:

I’m not going to lie, that wave at Splash Mountain is pretty cool, to say the least! It’s a fun way to bring in the meta-humor of Deadpool. Beyond “Story Time,” Deadpool will also be engaging the crowd throughout the Avengers Campus, as well as various crash games, including “Avengers Assemble!” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!” as he tries to lobby his way into various Marvel teams.
Beyond Deadpool and Wolverine themselves, it wouldn’t be Disney without some food: namely, chimichangas! Here’s a look at the new food item added to Pym’s Test Kitchen. The beefy creation has Wolverine’s claw marks of approval.
Deadpool and Wolverine will be appearing for a limited time at the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure, so if you want to get up close and personal with Marvel’s latest heroes, you’ll need to head down to the parks soon.
