Here’s how much each player made

This week, at the Black Desert Championship, Kevin Streelman made PGA Tour cut number 301, one week after he made PGA Tour cut number 300, and people asked him to reminisce about PGA Tour No.
You are happy. He remembers it well.
“It was the ’05 Milwaukee Open at Brown Deer Park,” Streelman said this week. “I was on a little trip. Me on Monday-I’m eligible. Talk about an intense Friday afternoon round because I didn’t know anything about my name. I was living out of my mother’s car, in the basement of my parents, traveling the country, trying to play small tour events, and I went there on Monday and made a cut, which I knew at the time that the last place was like $ 10,000. , which paid for my Q-school and the excellent Dakotas Tour. It made a lot of sense to me.
“I think I finished 25th and I got $25,000, and I was like, this paid for my entire year and my entrance fee, and I think it paid for Courtney’s engagement ring.”
Mom’s car? What kind of car was it?
“My mom had a Nissan Altima,” Streelman said. “It was a 1993 Nissan Altima. It’s a bit tight in the back seat.
“But those are good memories.”
How many miles were in it?
“I put about 250,000 on my mom,” Streelman said, “and then I got a second one and put about 200,000 miles on that one, and I just bought a new Camry for my fifth year on a small trip and I got. my PGA Tour card and sold it for a Porsche 911 after I had my first year on the PGA Tour.”
Where did you shower again?
“Yes, Motel 6, Super 8,” Streelman said. “It was anything I could do.”
Here, the reporter saw Streelman smiling as he shared the news. He was asked what the journey from PGA Tour cut No. 1 to PGA Tour No. 301 was it difficult.
It was, he said, and, somehow, it wasn’t.
“It’s painful, but it’s like — it’s like the beauty of it, too, when you have nowhere to go without going up,” Streelman said. “I was lucky enough to get a diploma from a good university but I wanted to get out of here. There was no other way. There was no second option.
“I think if you have the second option, you don’t succeed in the first option. I really looked that way. Whatever I have to do, if I have to work at Kierland, if I have to play caddy at Whisper Rock, if I have to substitute teach at my high school, I can do all those things, then I will save money to give myself a chance. Then when I get a chance I take it, and I was lucky enough to do it on my sixth try in ’07 at Q-school and get out here after 17 years.”
