That’s another topic. We have a lot to get out of there. Let’s try. We will do the same with many nouns.

Bryson DeChambeau. You know him. Won the US Open in 2020. I’m jumping from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf in 2022. Won the US Open again, in June. It beats it by a country mile. Likes YouTube.

And YouTube is where we can find him this week, on YouTube’s favorite golfer Grant Horvat’s channel, and the game is a cross-play between the two, but on this condition: Horvat’s phone, using Siri, will select DeChambeau’s clubs from it all the shots. For our story here, we’re going to focus on tee balls. On the par-4 1st, at Maridoe Golf Club in Texas, DeChambeau was forced to hit a pitching wedge. On the par-3 2nd, he forced a 7-iron. On the par-4 3rd, he’s forced to hit a 5-wood. At the 591 yard, 5 4th, DeChambeau was forced to hit the putter.

Remove the tee. This club is reserved for vegetarians, or casual moments with your friends. But a deal is a deal.

Said DeChambeau on the tee box: “What if I hit my putter farther than you hit your driver?”

Horvat said: “Oh, that would be bad. I feel like you can do it. There is a chance, if you hit that low fade. Will you face it hard? Can you break your putter?”

Said DeChambeau: “Oh yes. But you know: Whatever. ”

Horvat said: “Is that the one you won the US Open with?”

Said DeChambeau: “No, thank you.”

Horvat struck first. He got up and left. DeChambeau was next.

Horvat said: “Oh boy, this is what I’ve been waiting for.”

Standing on his ball, DeChambeau took one waggle and one throw. He took a step back. He returned to his ball. He took three more waggles. He hit.

Low shot. Down in the middle. Deep.

Horvat said: “There’s no way it just happened.”

DeChambe laughed.

282 meters. DeChambeau and Horvat called their guns. Did DeChambeau pass Horvat? It is possible. He came closer. Horvat handled him well, by a few yards. But DeChambeau wanted a yard check. He looked at the monitor.

Said DeChambeau: “270.”

Horvat said: “You hit a 270 putter?”

Said DeChambeau: “Yeah, it was like 270. No, it says 282 actually. That’s where it comes from. I just hit that 280 thing.”

Shooting two into the hole, DeChambeau was forced to hit driver.
