How Keegan Bradley prepares for competitions, according to his friend

Keegan Bradley is known for some of his erratic, almost nervous ways on the golf course. So how does that translate to what he is in the week leading up to a golf tournament?

According to his caddy, Scott Vail, it means a little bit of everything.

“As sometimes he will find himself on the rise. He’s like, ‘Scott, I didn’t sleep a wink.’ And then you want to go to dinner at 4:30 pm on Monday and Tuesday,” Vail told hosts Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz on this week’s episode of GOLF Subpar.

“But as soon as Tuesday night is done, DoorDash, Uber Eats. He doesn’t leave that hotel room. I say, ‘You’re a whack job.’

In the best competition, Vail says that everyone is giving Bradley a hard time about how often he wants to go to dinner early and retire for the evening before most people have dinner.

Then, as Stoltz said at the Presidents Cup last month, Bradley’s energy level is so high that he can’t even keep food in his stomach.

But it’s not just that he had great power, said Vail on Sunday in the President’s Cup, when Bradley beat Si Woo Kim, who was the hottest international player during the games, he didn’t say anything until the last game.

“Keegan came to that course on Sunday and I heard him in the class, he didn’t say a word to me and I was like, ‘Oh, this guy, he’s coming today,'” Vail said. “I have no problem with that. I’d rather he say nothing than speak for him on the cliff.”

That’s even more impressive when you consider that Bradley and Kim have a great relationship and Bradley, Vail and Kim, Manny Villegas, all get along too.

Vail said his level of focus on Sunday was different.

“When you were alone, it was you and your partner, it was a different vibe,” she said. “It was very bad. And he was very focused on just doing the job. And you did a great job with that. “
