The video shows the moment when Olympic athlete Bruno Lobo rescued a woman who appeared to be drowning in the sea.
The athlete was practicing with a new camera, while kitesurfing off the coast of São Luís in Brazil when he heard someone screaming.
Lobo, an orthopedic surgeon, helped the woman onto her back and used his kite to take her to shore.
The woman was seen meeting friends at the beach and walked along the beach. “I just did my job” and “I’m in the right place at the right time,” Lobo said in a self-portrait on Instagram.
The athlete said he wants to use this opportunity to warn people on social media that “the sea is really dangerous” and “the waves can pull you into the sea”.
