Vogue editor Dame Anna Wintour, U2 frontman Bono and billionaire George Soros are among those who will receive America’s highest honor from outgoing President Joe Biden.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom will be awarded to 19 people this year, including cultural stars, politicians and campaigners.
These were chosen because “they are good people who have made an incredible contribution to their country and to the world,” said the White House.
Biden will present the awards at the White House at a ceremony on Saturday.
