Marvel recently released the first trailer for their upcoming animated series, Your Friendly Neighbor Spider-Manwhich will take us back to Peter Parker’s early days as a high school hero. The art is based on a classic comic book style, and it looks like the story itself will be from the MCU version of things, unlike how the show was originally described in 2021 when it was first announced. Your Friendly Neighbor Spider-Man will consist of 10 episodes, and will premiere on Disney+ on January 29.
Peter Parker is portrayed by Hudson Thames. The cast also includes Colman Domingo who plays Norman Osborn, who we see in the trailer as Spider-Man’s mentor, as well as Zeno Robinson (Harry Osborn), Grace Song (Nico Minoru) and Charlie Cox (Daredevil). Hugh Dancy voices Otto Octavius aka Doctor Octopus. The animated series was first teased on Disney+ Day three years ago under a different name, Spider-Man: New Year.
