Kaiju No. 8
Sometimes we all just need a TV show about a cute hibo of a man who turns into a super-powered monster and beats the ever-present bejesus out of even bigger monsters. Good news then, because Kaiju No. 8The animated adaptation of the same top-notch manga is worth every second of the entertainment watch. The action is as fun and brutal as you’d hope, but it’s actually the sincere charm of the main character, the aforementioned hibo Kafka Hibino, that makes it so much fun to watch.
Chaos
Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, king of the gods? Zanele said. A darkly funny and chaotic Netflix show for fantasy nerds and a modern twist on fantasy. Unfortunately it wasn’t renewed for a second season, but the first season is at least a standalone story.
