Revenge Most Birds Brings Computer Tricks to Classic Claymation

Technology has always been a funny thing in the world Wallace & Gromit—where Wallace’s inventions, from real ships to remote-controlled robo-pants, sit close to Britain’s unofficial vision. And so it was in the making Wallace & Gromit at Aardman again, as the studio has thrived on traditional animated features while also dipping its toes into CGI aides and fully 3D projects over its long history. With Aardman’s return to Wallace & Gromit for the first time in 16 years on the horizon with Revenge Most Birdsyou can see a glimpse of how the studio balances both the traditional and the modern in these small snippets from the film’s new art book.

It will be released on December 31st from Titan Books, The Art of Wallace & Gromit: The Ultimate Revenge Birds-written by Richard Hansom, former development producer Wallace & Gromit A TV movie The Story of Bread and Death– Takes you behind the scenes of the development process of Aardman’s long-awaited return to his iconic creation, including the return of The Wrong Pants‘ beloved villain Feathers McGraw and many more in a series of interviews with the cast and crew, as well as many behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the film, from the original concept art of Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park himself, all the way to the end showing an army of clay models created for the film.
