Edgerunners Gets Blu-Ray and Manga Prequel
Studio Trigger’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was a hit when it came out, and CD Projekt Red is more than aware of how much people love it. Although we don’t know much about the next venture of the anime franchise, at least there is some good news, which is now available for fans of the series to celebrate.
First, you knew The Edgerunners do you have a lie? No, really, it’s called Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Madness, and it’s a prequel to its first chapter that came out Friday in “select magazines” across Japan, Poland, and elsewhere. Written by CDPR comics/animation head Bartorsz Sztybor and drawn by Asano, Madness is a prequel that focuses on two siblings Rebecca and Pilar before they join the Maine team and…well, if you’ve seen the show, you know. Currently, Dark Horse has an English version, and there is currently no way to read it in that language. The entire volume will arrive in 2025, but you can view its colorful cover below.
Don’t be mad that we kept it a secret 🤫 The first chapter of the official Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS manga is out in select languages, and the full volume will be out in 2025! 💥

If that wasn’t enough, The Edgerunners pulls i Arcane and it’s coming to Blu-Ray next year! Currently, it will be released in North America and Japan, as well as Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. At the moment, the Japanese release is the only one with an exact date: May 28, 2025. But what is included on said Blu-Ray, and when it will arrive in other territories will be revealed in the coming months. It’s still a win, though: The Edgerunners you join Arcane and these two Castlevania series like top-rated Netflix shows graced with physical releases. That’s a big deal, especially since Netflix has recently indicated that it’s willing to do away with interactive specials or shows like that Voltronwhich are not original but were born on the platform.
