Life is about to change dramatically for head coach Skip Johnson and his Oklahoma Sooners.
OU has spent the past two decades as a member of the Big 12 Conference. And for the most part, the Sooners experienced some good times in the league. OU hosted the Regional last season after going 40-21 overall with an impressive 23-7 league record. It had the kind of visual of the year in ’23, and of course, proudly carried the torch of the conference back in 2022 by finishing the College World Series in the national runner-up, where the Skip club knocked out the SEC’s Texas A&M Aggies in the tournament earlier.[…]
