Oscar Valdez looks to avenge his previous loss to WBO super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete, while Robeisy Ramirez hopes to score against World Boxing Organization 126-lb titleholder Rafael Espinoza in their rematch live on ESPN+ today in the evening. These two fights alternate in terms of the main event.

– In a surprising finish, the WBO featherweight champion Rafael Espinoza (26-0, 22 KOs) scored a surprising sixth-round TKO win over Robeisy Ramirez (14-3, 9 KOs) in their rematch. Robeisy suddenly quit early in the sixth after taking a right to the hand from Espinoza. The fight was stopped 12 seconds into the sixth round. Robeisy was in control of the fight for five rounds. Espinoza wasn’t doing much until Robeisy stopped.
In the fourth round, he hit me with a couple of elbows. I complained to the referee about it, and then this happened,” said Robeisy. “I have to make a decision about my life. I had a double thought. I was blind in my right eye.
“I couldn’t see. Those were the elbows that hurt me. I had to get out of the war. I am happy with my decision.”

Valdez & Robeisy Seek Revenge
In these two fights, many fans are interested to see how well Cuban Olympic gold medalist Ramirez (14-2, 9 KOs) fares because he was the favorite going into the match against Espinoza (25- 0, 21) KOs) last year on December 9.
The 6’1″ Espinoza surprised Ramirez with his high takedowns and high power. In fact, Ramirez could not keep up with the Mexican hero both in the exit and in the preparation of the later rounds.
In the main event, Valdez (33-2, 24 KOs) will have a tough time dealing with the size, power, and punching volume of WBO super featherweight champion Navarrete.
Last year, Valdez was outmatched in all departments, losing a wide 12-round decision to Navarrete on August 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
