The first Hero World Challenge title on Thursday
Although Tiger Woods will not be playing Thursday in Albany, he will be there watching a star-studded field compete in his tournament. Among them is rising star Ludwig Aberg.
Although Aberg didn’t add a second PGA Tour win in 2024, he still had a good year, posting three runner-up finishes and eight top 10 finishes.
The 25-year-old Swede is making her Hero World Challenge debut this week, but many of her competitors have plenty of experience in Albany, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who took home the Hero trophy last year.
You can watch the first round of the 2024 Hero World Challenge on TV via Golf Channel, which will air at 1:30 pm ET on Thursday. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide coverage of the featured team.
