Get the 10th-gen iPad at the lowest price right now
Apple’s Black Friday deals are in full swing, and this is your chance to grab a new iPad at a discount if you’ve been thinking about getting one. The 10th generation iPad is currently on sale for $259 on Amazon, about $90 less than it normally costs. Several color options have an additional coupon that lowers the final price to $250. Apple released the tablet in 2022, but it’s still our best budget iPad pick for 2024.
The 10th generation iPad is thicker and heavier than the iPad Air. It looks similar to the iPad Air, too — the tablet no longer has the Home button of its predecessor, and has a larger screen with smaller bezels.

The device is powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, which was first seen in the iPhone 12 and is powerful enough to edit RAW images in Lightroom when testing the tablet. While testing the battery life, we found that the model can play movies continuously for 11 hours and 45 minutes on a single charge.
Unlike previous models with lightning ports, this one comes with a USB-C port for charging. Apple has moved its front-facing camera to the edge of its landscape, too. The company has given it a larger display, which measures 10.9 inches, so it doesn’t feel as crowded as previous models or have more apps. While the iPad Air has the best overall display with its lamination and anti-reflective coating, the 10th-gen iPad isn’t bad at all as it costs a lot less, especially at this discount.
