Amazon’s Echo Dot is down to just $23 on Black Friday
Yes, Black Friday is here, and, while we’re not sure where this year is headed, every sale softens the blow. Amazon, certainly the home of many purchases this year, is already marking some of its most wanted products. Included in the sale is our pick for the best smart speaker under $50, the fifth generation Amazon Echo Dot. Right now, you can pick up the speaker for just $23 — an all-time low.
The fifth-generation Amazon Echo Dot came out in 2022 and has great features, including loud and clear sound for its sticker price (not to mention discounted). It has all the basics and does them well: it lets you set clocks and timers, stream music and podcasts from the streamer of your choice and use Alexa for all your questions.

If you’re not sure about the Echo Dot then check out Amazon’s other Black Friday speakers. There’s the Echo Spot, which is back at its October Prime Day low of $45, down from $80.
Amazon originally released the Echo Spot in 2017, but discontinued it two years later. A new model was launched earlier this year without the bedside camera and with better quality display and sound. You can also pick up an Echo Pop for just $18, down from $40. This speaker is a great option if you want a solid device in a small room.
