Mortal Kombat 1 Calls on Ghostface to Beat Everyone to Bits
Fighting game franchises like to add uncredited guest stars to their shows, too Mortal Kombat this is not the case. Over the years, NetherRealm has brought horror icons such as Freddy Kreuger, Predator and Alien, and Jason Voorhees to battle against a series of heroes and villains. Mortal Kombat 1 you continue that proud tradition by adding to both The Invincible’s Omni-Man and Homender from Guys, and now Scream’s Ghostface springs into action.
Earlier in the week, NetherRealm released a trailer showing what its new battle is all about. If you are a rebel Ghostface using a gun Shout out 6, the game seems to agree, because he does nothing but stab, stab, stab the hell out of Sub-Zero and Sindel. Whether alone or with a fellow assassin or two, his every move seems to be about making sure someone gets the business end of his iconic knife. He may not have the flashiest or worst Fatality of the bunch, but he’s definitely the core Shout out movies, and it helps that they got Roger L. Jackson to come and do the show.
If you’re wondering how the game handles multiple Ghostfaces, the developers recently said during a live stream that the two partners that help out during combos and Fatal Blows are two characters from the Black Dragon gang, codenamed Enforcer and Assassin, which can be seen the big ones. Ghostface signed up for his cause when he entered Liu Kang’s timeline. (You can even switch briefly between them, and they’ll have different blades to separate them.) As for the main Ghostface? Who they are is still a mystery for now, considering several people have taken up the mantle in succession, but maybe we’ll find out by the end of the tower.
Ghostface arrives Mortal Kombat 1 November 19 for those who purchased Khaos Reigns, then available to everyone the following week on November 26.
