The Wicked Prince of Persia Gets Major Update With ‘Second Act’
The Wicked Prince of Persiaa modern reboot of the classic platformer published by Broderbund in 1989, it’s still in early access mode but it’s getting a bunch of new, cool-sounding features next week. Developer Evil Empire has posted a blog post that includes information about the new update and debuts a new teaser trailer with gameplay footage.
The Steam page says the update has “doubled the game’s content since launch.” “Act Two” will include a second act and “tons of Act 1 narrative police” as well as more biomes, bosses and enemies. The update will also add “Quality of Life” features such as multiple saves and localization for German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish players. The character of the game will also look very different – RIP Prince of Purple.
The new update drops on November 21. The Tyrant Prince of Persia he was already smart and intelligent, even at a young age. It’s been updated a long time since its early launch, but next week’s update is likely to be even bigger. It grows into a mix of a classic game with new graphics and a modern “roguelite” gameplay loop as seen in other indies like Hades.
