Jake Paul went into full WWE mode after being slapped in the face by Mike Tyson in what many felt was 100% scripted by both fighters during their heavyweight bout on Thursday. Paul’s acting skills were such puerile and underdramatizedIt doesn’t even seem remotely true. It looked so fake it was hard to watch.
Given how fake this all seemed due to Jake’s poor acting skills, fans will have to decide if they want to sing along to watch Paul vs. Tyson on Netflix Friday night or wait for the full tournament to be uploaded to YouTube many times over. after.
Tyson’s slap looked scripted
Former heavyweight Tyson played his role better, but he’s been in movies before and knows how to act. It would have seemed believable that Jake left after being slapped, but he had to spend the conversation showing that it was all just an act.
Mike Tyson: “The conversation is over,” Tyson said when Ariel Helwani asked him why he slapped Jake Paul when they were seeing each other. “I ****ed him up. It’s personal now. He must DIE.
Jake Paul: “You are angry, angry little elf. Mike, I thought that was a good slap, but tomorrow you’re going to be kicked out.”
If the kids or better yet, Jake the promoter’s fans are the ones who will be watching this WWE fight on Friday night, it won’t be bad for them because they are used to it. But for true boxing fans who like to see real fights, they are not happy with what they see.
It’s too bad Jake (10-1, 7 KOs) isn’t serious about wanting to be a professional boxer, because he might develop into a tour-level boxer instead of a KSI-level YouTuber. I don’t think Jake has gotten into the game enough to be able to fight fights that would improve him.
