Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten achieved a statement opening success at the Nitto ATP Finals.

Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten could not have asked for a better way to start their first run at the Nitto ATP Finals.
The seventh seed produced a statement 7-6(2), 6-4 win on Sunday against 2023 finalists Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos to open their account in Turin. Heliovaara and Patten carried their momentum from the top half of the first half to take the lead in the second half. They were commanding throughout the match, saving every break point the pair faced, according to Infosys ATP Stats.
After tying their Lexus ATP Head2Head series with Granollers and Zeballos 1-1, Heliovaara and Patten go 1-0 in the Mike Bryan Group. The other teams that will face each other in the group stage are Max Purcell/Jordan Thompson and Wesley Koolhof/Nikola Mektic.
