We all love each other, we all love to work together, and if we could, it would be great. But Warner Bros. – and I don’t hate them – they haven’t come back to us. It is not their priority. It’s like the never-return-calls-calls-thing.
However, Welling confirmed that he has the poster and animatic ready for James Gunn to review, should he arrange a meeting.
I know! We joked about it. Michael says, ‘Oh, James [Gunn] you are busy.’ I think it would be a fun idea. We have already done the animation. I don’t know if Michael shared them yet, but we have a poster for it. That’s right [with] actors and Lionel Luthor coming from behind [them.] We want Al [Gough] and Miles [Millar] to write it. They have expressed interest, but they are also busy working Wednesday and Tim Burton. I think because it’s not a huge financial gain for anyone, it gets less [priority.]
