Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, but there are some early Black Friday deals already available. For example, Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 are down to $170. That’s 80 percent or 32 percent of the list price. It’s not exactly a record low, as AirPods Pro 2 was sold for $169 in the past, but it’s not far off at all.

AirPods Pro 2 has dropped to almost its lowest price before Black Friday. Apple has recently added other audio quality features that make the earphones even more attractive.

We feel that transparent mode, which is powered by the Apple H2 chip, is very good. It sounds more natural here than any other earphones we’ve tested.
Apple has built on this by enabling hearing health features recently in AirPods Pro 2. These include an FDA-approved hearing aid function and a hearing test. Earphones may be used to help protect your hearing in loud environments, such as concerts, without blocking the sound.
Other useful features include quick pairing and easy switching between Apple devices, surround sound, hands-free Siri and active noise cancellation. The earphones are IPX4 rated for water resistance as well. On the downside, the touch screen takes a little getting used to.
The AirPods Pro 2 lasted about six hours and 15 minutes on a single charge during our testing. The charging case (a battery you can charge wirelessly or via USB-C) adds three additional costs.
