Gen V Adds Mysterious New Stars To Its Season 2 Cast
Boys I got a dose of college age heroes with Gen V, focusing on a group of Supes in training students at the prestigious Godolkin University. While the main show is coming to an end, the spinoff returns to the classroom, and brings new students along for the ride.
Per Deadline, actresses Keeya King (Yellowjackets), Julia Knope (In the dark), Tait Fletcher (The Mandalorian), Stephen Kalyn (Hero Strong), Stacey McGunnigle (This hour has 22 minutes), Wyatt Dorian (Great Hall), and Georgie Murphy (He was charged) will have recurring roles over time Gen V second exit. What roles will they play in the story of the show, and who will they be in Godolkin? Prime Video hasn’t said yet, but season one stars Derek Luh and Maddie Phillips revealed production on the new season wrapped earlier this week. Last March, production was halted following the death of Chance Perdomo, who played Andre. In May, Prime Video said his role would not be reprised, and the season plans were rewritten. Season one stars Jaz Sinclar, Lizzie Broadway, London Thor, Asa Germann will reprise their roles from last season.
Both Gen V again Boys are expected to return to Prime Video in 2025. The broadcaster also cooked up some spinoffs: at SDCC, it was revealed that Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy and Aya Cash’s Stormfront will be in the headlines. Vought’s rise, a prequel series set in the 1950s about the birth of the titular corporation and its rise to creating superheroes. That will also be joined by a program in Mexico and executive produced by Gael Garcia Bernal as well Andor’s Diego Luna. After that, who knows—maybe a movie?
