The Definitive Edition is headed to Switch on March 20
Wii U with great and overlooked games. Many of these titles are for the Nintendo Switch and, well, here’s another one. Xenoblade Chronicles X: The Definitive Edition . Pre-orders are currently open.
This update to the 2015 action RPG will feature “improved graphics, additional story features and more.” As the name suggests, this is advertised as a direct game plan. There’s a trailer, embedded below, and the graphics seem pretty downloadable. The trailer also includes a mysterious image. Nintendo says we should “stay tuned to learn more” about this new character.
This version is sure to include multiplayer components. Players can join online groups to go on adventures and fight bad guys. You can even recruit other players’ avatars to your team in the main story. There is a swap feature that allows you to populate the party with photos of friends and family.
Xenoblade Chronicles X it’s generally considered , with a large open world map and huge dead animals to slay. There are five continents to explore across the hostile planet of Mira. You can also navigate the world while riding a giant mech. The subject is a subjective matter, so you don’t need to have a lot of knowledge in any religion.
This isn’t the first Xenoblade game to get the refresh treatment. Xenoblade Chronicles: The Definitive Edition in the franchise and was released for the Switch back in 2020.
