Wawrinka, a three-time major champion, and Nishikori, a former No. 4 in the PIF ATP Rankings, will compete in the Slovak Open 2024. The ATP Challenger 125 tournament is being held in Bratislava.
Wawrinka, who also played ATP Challenger Tour events in Aix-en-Provence and Bordeaux earlier in the season, will begin his tournament against Maximilian Marterer.
Nishikori, who reached the quarter-finals in Como and Genoa two months ago, will play third-seeded Marton Fucsovics in the first round.
Other players to watch include #NextGenATP star Joao Fonseca and fourth seed Jacob Fearnley, who owns a 23-1 ATP Challenger Tour record this season.
